Everyone probably thinks of me as the kind of person whose occupation is malicious and evil. The truth is, I am only doing what Mother Nature intended. Many people fear me. Some people try to cheat me. But eventually, they will meet me in the end.
Today, however, was different. I no longer felt like guiding souls to the afterlife or taking peaceful walks around the graveyard. I figured a change of scenery, as well as a hobby, would help cure my boredom.
[[So, why not do what the humans do...]]Many humans seem to enjoy drinking an energizing substance called "coffee". I hear it tastes splendid with a pastry or a sandwich. i decided to give this beverage a try. I made my way to the coffee shop nearest to the graveyard and ordered a basic hot coffe with no cream or sugar. For some reason, the baristas laughed when I told them my name. I must say I was quite offended. Nontheless, the coffee was exceptional.
Now I need a hobby. Thankfully, the [[potted plant in the window]] gave me an idea.Humans also leave bundles of flowers on the grave of their loved ones. These flowers are often subject to the elements and do not last long. It could not hurt to take care of these flowers on the side. It may help their families grieve after all. I made my way back to the graveyard, coffee in hand, to tend to the gravestone flowers.
Such beautiful things...
[[Their petals look so soft...]]How foolish of me to think I could care for a living thing. When my fingers made contact with the flowers' glistening petals, their bodies turned gray and slumped over. I tried again with a different bouqet, but ended up with the same results. Flower after flower wilted slowly in my hands. I was devastated. How could I ever think I, a creature that brings death, would believe I could keep something alive?
That is when I spotted [[something off in the distance]]There was a large, decrepit mansion off in the distance. Screams errupted from the building as humans ran through the exit fearfully. I decided to see what was going on there. What I saw was a sight that was almost entertaining. Humans dresssed as ghastly monsters and screeching sloppily at other humans. Needless to say, they were not doing it right at all. Best to show these humans how it's really done.
I managed to greatly frighten some humans into fainting on the spot. For some reason, i found the sight of this hilarious and intriguing.
I finally found it. My new hobby. Scaring the daylights out of humans beings. I feel fulfilled now that I have something fun to do.
